What is space time??It is different or same thing??Light doesn't travel into straight line??
When special theory of relativity was considered deeply.It is found to be not applicable for real world. The great scientists sir Albert Einstein started to find its solution and after 10 years,he proposed theory of relativity which give him lots of fame and name.He started to known as great physicist. Let's explore how he did it:
When Albert Einstein knew that everything things in the universe is accelerating, he started to do his experiment on acceleration. He did thought experiment in which a lift was taken in a space and earth inside a lift there was considered a man who can't see outside the lift.The lift was accelerated at 9.8ms-2,in this case no one can decided he is in space or Earth. Sir Albert Einstein found acceleration and gravity is same thing. He started to think if acceleration is gravity then,what is gravity? If the gravity is acceleration then what is acceleration? It make him confused that's why he included gravity in his theory of relativity. According to Newton gravity is force between two which attract each other and acts instantly. Newton was asked what will happen if the Sun disappear suddenly. He replied"All planet including Earth will float and move in their straight line".Albert Einstein thought if it will happen so,then speed of gravity might be greater than speed of light which was not trustable, which was beyond nature law.He think light takes 8 min 20s then how can gravity act instantly when sun is disappeared suddenly. He thought there might something missing, He started to do his experiment on gravity. He also included the concept of space time in his experiment. At that space and time was considered as different things. Albert
Einstein proved Space and time is same thing.Time is a collection of each moment, for example a video is made up collection of the images similarly time is collection of each moment. Events can't be happen without time.Time is also known as fourth dimension. He started to think how space time works or who gives it shape.Finally he found mass of the object gives to the space time. In his experiment he told space and time are like a fabric. In which an object of mass makes curve,and the curve made due to mass is known as gravity. The sun is an object of the heaviest mass and it makes more curve than other heavenly bodies. He told all the planets including Earth rotates around the sun due the curve made by sun due to its weight. He also told the object can make curve in space time on the basis of their Mass. Less massive object makes less curve and massive object makes more curve. He also found gravity direct affect the time.he told time slow down for heavy object. To prove Einstein was right researchers took two atomic clock which was acting simultaneously. One of them was taken to the top of mountain where gravity is less and one of them was taken under the water of see where gravity Was high,it was left for few years.After that its time was not matching,they found Einstein right.Modern GPS systems worked on this principle. The time of satellite is finding each year different, and corrected by researchers. It happens due to theory of relativity. We have studied that light always travels in straight line but In a experiment sir Albert Einstein found it bends due gravity(curvature of space time curves the path of light). He explained; the star which is beyond The Sun is not seen in its actual position. Because the light of the star bends around the sun as it has heavy mass which makes curve in space time. To prove his explanation he along with his colleagues did experiment in solar eclipse day (in solar eclipse day star can be seen as the light of sun obstructed by the moon).After doing this experiment his prediction was proved real.He also became able to explain the orbit of the mercury which was not explained by Newton. The orbit of Mercury doesn't remain in fixed axis. In each rotation it shifts from it original axis.He also became able to give the correct answer of the question (what happens to earth when sun disappear suddenly??) He found the Earth along with all the planets will not show its reaction instantly as it doesn't travel faster than light.he told We will know after 8min that sun disappeared. He explained gravity acts as a wave like a stone when dropped in water,the waves takes time to reach similarly gravity takes time to reach the Earth
His answered was found. He also completed special theory of relativity.He got lots of fame and known as great physicist later as father of science after the theory of general relativity published.
